How to compare and merge CSV files

  1. Upload the Before and After CSV exports.
  2. Choose an ID or other column present in both files.
  3. Compare the rows, then download changes or the merged CSV.

Example

Compare Monday and Friday customer exports by customer_id to find new, removed and updated records.

Supported options and limitations

5 MB, 20,000 rows and 100 columns per file. Keys must be unique and non-empty. Merging keeps all keys and prefers After values; Before-only rows and columns are retained. Formula-like export cells receive a protective apostrophe.

Common questions

What happens to duplicate IDs?

Comparison stops and asks you to correct duplicates rather than silently dropping rows.

Does the merged file remove deleted records?

No. It retains Before-only rows. Use the changes report to review removals.
