Supported options and limitations

1 MB per input, 100 nesting levels and 10,000 differences. Object key order does not matter. Arrays are compared by index; this is not an executable JSON Patch.

Common questions

Is null the same as a missing field?

No. Removed fields and fields containing null are reported differently.

Are arrays matched by object ID?

No. Array elements are compared at the same index.
