How to extract text from an image

  1. Choose a clear PNG, JPG or WebP containing English printed text.

Supported options and limitations

10 MB and 12 million pixels per image. English printed text only in this version. OCR may misread names, numbers, handwriting and low-quality scans. First use downloads self-hosted OCR resources; files are processed locally.

Does it upload my screenshot?

No. The OCR engine and language data load from Daily Apps Kit, but image processing runs on your device.

Does it support handwriting or other languages?

This version supports English printed text. Handwriting and other languages are not supported.
