How to add a signature image to a PDF

  1. Choose an unencrypted PDF, then upload a PNG or JPG signature image.
  2. Select the page and adjust Left, Top and Width percentages.
  3. Review the placement preview, download the signed PDF and open it to check the result.

Example

To place a signature near the lower-right corner, try Left 60%, Top 75% and Width 25%, then adjust for your page and signature proportions.

Supported options and limitations

PDF under 20 MB; signature image under 5 MB. Placement must fit inside the selected page. Adds a visible image, not a certificate-based digital signature. Encrypted PDFs are unsupported; editing may invalidate existing digital signatures.

Common questions

Where can I create a signature image?

Use Signature Creator, download PNG, then return here to upload it.

Why does the signature extend beyond the page?

Reduce Width or move Left and Top inward. The image keeps its proportions.

Does this verify who signed the document?

No. It places an image without identity verification or a signing certificate.
